Movie Review: Fifty Shades Darker

Hello there! So i went to see the movie that everybody is talking about last night Fifty Shades Darker. (11.02.17)  This movie came in to the cinema on Friday, so i got the chance to watch it pretty much as soon as it come out! I’m going to tell you my honest review without adding too many spoilers into it!

Now when i saw the first movie (Fifty shades of grey) to be honest i felt let down. It was good but i had expected more with reading the book. So i didn’t have high expectations for the second movie. However i loved this movie and can say it was much better than the first one!!! The Fifty shades trilogy has a strong reputation for it being all about sex. Fifty shades darker showed more love and romance rather than it being all about sex. (Having about 4 short scenes) There was much more chemistry between Anastasia and Christian which i loved as I’ve rooted for them both since reading the first book.

I feel that some parts of the movie was a little dramatic (Spoiler alert) such as Christians ex submissive trying to kill Ana. However i loved that they shown one of his ex submissives in the movie as none have been shown in the first one! Also (spoiler alert) i feel the scene with the helicopter crash was a little rushed. I loved the idea but due to it being rushed i knew that Christian would have lived through it and my thoughts were proved right five minuets later. I LOVED the ending! (Spoiler alert) It has made me want to see Fifty Shades of Freed as soon as it comes out, as i want to know what happens now that Ana and Christian are engaged! Is there a wedding? Is there children? Ahhh so many questions!!! I might just have to read the book as the next movie don’t come out until the 08.02.18! A whole year away! *Cries*

Overall i rate this movie a solid 9/10. It’s the perfect movie for valentines day, so guys out there take your ladies to go see it. I’m sure you would love it too!

Let me know in the comments if you have seen it and what you thought off the movie!

I look forward to seeing you soon on another post, Tee Blogs over and out!
